FAQ

1. What is the quality of the materials used for your artworks?

I use only archival quality, cotton papers and professional artist inks, pigments and paints. My ink jet prints are additionally protected from UV with a clear varnish layer.

2. The difference between original and prints?

An original artwork is one of the kind. It is as I made them, with all flows and miracles. It is signed by me, including the year of creation. In that category belongs you will find my monotypes, watercolours, photogravures, gum dichromates etc.

The prints are done by me and they are scans of my original artwork, printed as several identical pieces. I do only a small batch of prints. Once it is sold, it is sold for good. They are double signed. Once as the scanned version with my signature on the original artwork and the second time with my original signature on the print.

3. What is the longevity of the original or printed artwork?

If the artwork is properly stored, hanged, displayed and handled, meaning out of direct sunlight and not in moist, damp areas, framed behind glass for artworks on paper, etc. it will last for several decades.
