Escape to Istria — Rovinj & Vrsar
After a few days on the road, I finally had time to sit down and write about our little escape to Istria — two towns that feel close on the map, but completely different in mood, rhythm, and stories.

Rovinj — already live on YouTube
Our journey began in Rovinj, a place that always feels like it’s balancing between the sea and the sky. We started the day in a modern luxury hotel overlooking the Adriatic, then wandered into the old town — narrow stone streets, Venetian facades, legends, and that peninsula that once “escaped to the sea.”
Later, we headed out on a small boat, chasing dolphins across open water and returning to the harbour in a sunset that didn’t feel real. The full video is already live: Watch – Rovinj Croatia Travel Vlog 2026 | Exploring Istria’s Most Iconic Town
Vrsar — coming June 5

The second part of our escape takes us to Vrsar — quieter, more grounded, full of stone, sculpture, and stories.
We began in the Sculpture Park Dušan Džamonja, wandered through Orsera Campsite for a quick look and lunch, and then crossed to the other side of town near Hotel Pineta. There, Vrsar opened into viewpoints, old streets, and the places where Casanova once wandered. We passed the Montraker stone‑carving school, climbed up the hill for the best view in town, found the Casanova monument, and ended the day at the Lim Channel — with the drone up for that perfect emerald‑water shot.
The Vrsar episode premieres on June 5: Vrsar Croatia Travel Vlog 2026 | Istrian Escape Part 2
