Magnolias, Zagreb & a Sweet Stop in Samobor

This vlog turned into a two‑day spring story. On the first day I planned a quiet walk through Zagreb — I had a cold and wasn’t talking much — but the magnolias were blooming, the air was soft, and the old town felt alive in that early‑spring way.
Somewhere on Radićeva I ended up chatting with an artist whose bold, colorful style reminded me of who I was before moving to Ireland. It felt like meeting a small piece of my past — the version of me that painted fearlessly, without overthinking.
Between slow walks and warm sun, I treated myself to Zagreb classics like kesten pire and wandered through the old streets just enjoying the day.
By the next morning I felt better… and somehow we ended up in Samobor.

Little streets, cozy cafés, and of course the famous Samoborska kremšnita — the perfect sweet ending to a spontaneous spring weekend.

A simple reminder that early spring in Croatia has its own rhythm: soft blossoms, warm light, small conversations, and the joy of going wherever the day leads.
