Photopolymer photogravure is an intaglio printmaking process. An image is captured on a plate that can be inked and printed by pressure through an etching press. In case of photopolymer photogravure the plate that is used is made out of photo sensitive polymer that hardens under the UV light. Photogravures are made on an acid free, archival printmaking papers, with professional printmaking inks.
