Surrounded with high Alpine peaks in South Tyrol, Italy and in the middle of season change (rain started when we arrived), I thought there will not be much of my photography. As usual, I walk up early, before sunrise and went for a walk. Sure enough, the dramatic clouds started to rise above mountain peaks, but then sun peaked through. In next few moments I’ve got my photographs.

I love to point my camera right into the eye. I know you’re not suppose to, but this is why I take this picture, because of that eye.

Sun and light is fascinating. And the way it blinds spectators when it appears behind the ridge, is the way I want to present it in photography. Again, like sunrise on the ocean , it appearance puts everything in rich dark colours.
